General Terms of Reservation

When making a reservation, the customer acknowledges that he is familiar with these General Terms and accepts them in their entirety. In this way all that is stated in these General Terms becomes a legal obligation both for the buyer and for the company Terra Slavonica d.o.o.

 

When making a reservation, the buyer is required to provide all the information required by the booking process. The valid price of the service is stated in the offer obtained through the online booking system or the booking department. Contracted services cannot be combined with other promotional offers or packages, unless otherwise agreed. Additional services are not included in the price and the user pays them extra. Terra Slavonica d.o.o. reserves the right to change the prices of services at any time. To users who have paid a deposit or provided an acceptable reservation guarantee, Terra Slavonica d.o.o. guarantees the prices that were in effect when the reservation was made.

 

In case of any changes or deviations from reserved services, regular rates will be charged. For services that have not been consumed, no refunds are possible. All types of special services that are not included in the price, the guest is paying by himself and is obliged to order them when making a reservation or on-demand on-site. Prices in euros are informative. We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or modify the reservation if there is a misuse of the reservation system or it has been made by a user’s obvious error.

 

All bookings through the online booking system are considered valid after receiving the confirmation of reservation from the central sales office of hotel.
In order for the reservation to be valid, the service user must guarantee the reservation either by an advance payment or a valid credit card
To book accommodation and other services, it is necessary to pay an deposit of 30% when making the reservation.
The rest of the amount will be paid at the reception desk during the stay, no later than on the day of check-out. Refund of deposit reduced by bank service costs may be requested if reservation is canceled 7 days prior to arrival. To cancel the reservation 0 to 7 days before arrival, the deposit will not be refunded.

 

In case of cancellation, the date of receipt of the written cancellation is the ground for calculation of the cancellation costs as follows:

  • to cancel the reservation within 7 to 3 days prior to the start of the service, the first night is charged.
  • to cancel the reservation within 72 hours before the start of use of the service or in case of absence of the guest, 100% of the total accommodation price will be charged.

 

If the buyer does not arrive at the midnight on the arrival date without contacting the service provider, the reservation is considered canceled and the cancellation costs are calculated according to the above conditions. If the actual costs of the cancellation exceed the above costs, Terra Slavonica d.o.o. reserves the right to charge the actual costs incurred.
If the customer who cancels the trip finds a new user for the same reservation, Terra Slavonica d.o.o. will only charge the actual costs incurred by changing the reservation.
In case the buyer wishes to change the reservation made according to his request, he must do so in writing by e-mail: info@kurija-jankovic.com.

According to the available options, Terra Slavonica d.o.o.will confirm the change of reservation and specify the new terms of reservation. In the case that the change of reservation is not possible and for that reason the buyer withdraws from the confirmed reservation, or in case the buyer requests the cancellation of the reservation for some other reason, the conditions for canceling the reservation apply.

The Right of Terra Slavonice d.o.o. to modify and cancel reservation

Terra Slavonica d.o.o. reserves the right to change or cancel the reservation if there are exceptional circumstances that cannot be foreseen, avoided or eliminated. Reserved accommodation can be replaced or canceled only with prior notice to the buyer, by placing the buyer in the same or higher category of accommodation at the same price upon which the buyer confirmed the reservation.

Buyer’s obligations

The buyer commits to:

  • own valid travel documents
  • respect customs and foreign currency regulations
  • obey house rules and cooperate with the service provider in good faith
  • when arriving at the destination, provide the service provider with a payment document (confirmation of the booking)
  • check whether he or she is required to enter the country where the destination or neighboring countries need a visa.

 

In cases of non-compliance with these obligations, the customer shall bear the costs and be liable for the damage done. By confirming the reservation, if the buyer causes any damage, he or she is obliged to pay any damages caused to the service provider.

Service provider obligations

Terra Slavonica d.o.o. is obligated to take care about the execution of the service, as well as on the choice of the service provider, with the attention of a good businessman, and to care about the rights and interests of the guest in accordance with the good practices in tourism, to provide all the contracted services for the particular arrangement and to provide answers about possible non-fulfillment of the service or part of the service. All of the above obligations will be performed in full and in the manner described, except in the case of ‘higher force, weather conditions, or changed circumstances. If possible Terra Slavonica d.o.o. will in such cases offer a replacement solution.

Luggage

Terra Slavonica d.o.o. is not responsible for damaged, destroyed or lost luggage, nor for the stolen luggage or valuables in the accommodation facility (it is recommended to use or rent a safe if available). Lost or stolen luggage is reported to the reception of the accommodation facility and to the local police department.

Privacy Policy

Terra Slavonica d.o.o. is committed to keep the privacy of all customers, to inform customers about the way of using the collected personal information, by regularly giving customers the choice of using their data, including the ability to decide whether or not to remove their name from the lists used for marketing campaigns. All customer informations are strictly stored and only accessible to employees to whom such information is necessary to do the job. Terra Slavonica d.o.o. uses a number of business partner’s services to process personal data on its behalf. Business partners are carefully selected. All employees of Terra Slavonica d.o.o. and its business partners are responsible for respecting the privacy principles.

 

How do we protect privacy of our clients?

  • Customer privacy and data protection are human rights.
  • We have a duty to take care of the users and their data.
  • To work with data requires a high level of responsibility, it is needed for them to be collected and processed only when it is really necessary.
  • We do not like and do not support SPAM, as well as our customers.
  • We will never sell, release, distribute or publicly post any user’s personal information without a user’s consent.
  • At the request of the users we will erase from our records their personal data or provide them with a copy of their personal

Why do we need personal data?

From January 1, 2016, the eVisitor network is used for tourist registration in Croatia. All accommodation providers have a statutory obligation to report Check in or Check out of tourists in the system. If a customer refuses to provide the service provider with the requested personal information, the service provider is entitled to refuse to provide the service.
The required data are: surname and name, place, country and date of birth, nationality, type and number of identity document, place of residence and address, date and time of arrival and departure from the object, sex.
In addition to the informations mentioned above, when making reservation via internet booking system, customer needs to enter an e-mail address and a phone number so the sales department at the hotel reception can check the availability of the requested dates and send a reservation confirmation in a timely manner.

How do we use cookies?

To improve our online service, we use cookies. Some of the cookies we use are necessary for the proper functioning of certain services, while others are used to collect information about using the web site (statistics) so that the page can be tailored to the user’s needs. Some cookies are temporary and disappear by turning off browsers, others are persistent and remain on the user’s computer for some time.
Some cookies are necessary for site functionality, while others are used to improve workflow and user experience.

Web site visits tracking

Like most websites, Kurija Jankovic’s website uses Google Analytics (GA) to track user interactions. This data is used to determine the number of people using the website to better understand how users find and use a website and see their travel through the website.
Although GA records data such as geographic location, user device, Internet browser, and operating system, none of these data can personally identify the user.
GA also records the IP address of a computer that could be used for personal identification, but Google does not give users access to that data. We consider Google a third party data processor. GA uses cookies, and details about them can be found in Google Developer Guides.
Disabling a cookie on your web browser will stop GA from tracking any part of your visit to any part of the site.

Newsletter

If a user decides to sign up to our newsletter list, the email address he sends us is forwarded to the software platform that provides us with email marketing services. The email address you send will not be stored in our own database or on any of our internal computer systems.
The email address remains within the database of the provided platform as long as we continue to use the services of this email marketing platform or until we request a check out from the newsletter list. The user can do this by canceling the subscription via subscription cancellation links found in all the newsletters we send or by requesting a logout via the contact email address.
If a user under the age of 16, he must obtain parental consent before subscribing to our newsletter.

Violation of privacy

Any violation of the privacy of our database or database from any of our partners will notify all relevant persons and authorities within 72 hours of the violation if it is obvious that stolen data is stored in such a way as to reveal the identity of the data owner.

Final provisions

These General Terms and Conditions are an integral part of the Contract between the customer and Terra Slavonica d.o.o. Any possible deviation from these Terms must be indicated within the text of the offer. The customer agrees to fully accept these Terms of Service which he/she has previously carefully studied.
